Bandipora, September 05: The students of Government Degree College Sumbal on Thursday organised a grand function to celebrate Teacher’s Day.
An official spokesperson said the students organised the function to honor the remarkable contribution of teachers in the society.
On the occasion the students paid rich tributes to their teachers and hailed their efforts to enlighten the students with education beyond the traditional classroom’s bookish knowledge.
The welcome address was presented by the principal of the College. She applauded the students for celebrating teacher’s day to pay tribute the dedication and hard work of their teachers.
The event featured various activities, speeches, a game of musical chair and musical performances conducted by students of College Cultural Group.
