Bandipora, Sep 02: President Contractors Association Bandipora Naseer Mir on Monday announced to contest assembly elections from the Bandipora constituency as an independent candidate and pledged to address grave issues of Bandipora people.
Addressing media in town hall Bandipora, Mir alleged the former politicians of Bandipora for failing to solve the public grievances and said basic facilities are yet to reach the people of Bandipora. He pledged to create employment opportunities for the unemployed youths so that they could earn their livelihood instead of falling into drug abuse.
“Everyone in Bandipora now wants change, I request people to give a chance to new faces so that this family politics ends,” he added.
“Our youths are suffering due to unemployment, we are the only district where we do not have an industrial sector,” (KNS)
