Bandipora, Aug 27:- With the aim to provide basic medical facilities to peoples of rural far flung areas the central reserve forces 3rd Battalion under civic action programme have treated around three thousand peoples in his ten free medical camps at several parts of the Bandipora district.
The tenth medical camp was organized in Turkpora village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district where around 330 patients were treated and given free medicines.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Commandant 3rd BN Mahindet Kumar, who while speaking with the media said that these camps were aimed to provide free medical facilities to poor peoples of these area ‘s.
“This initiative by the CRPF is commendable as it provides much-needed relief to the underprivileged communities of the region, ” one of the local residents from Turkpora said.
He thanked CRPF for conducting such medical camps in the far flung areas of the Bandipora district and said that these areas lacked basic medical facilities.
“They have provided us with free medical facilities at the door step for which we need to pay and travel several kilometers. We hope more medical camps will be conducted for the poor peoples of Bandipora,” Anwar, a local resident, said.
