ARTO Bandipora Conducts Enforcement Drive to Enhance Road Safety and ensuring Compliance with transport regulations

Bandipora June 08: The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora today conducted an extensive enforcement drive at Arin-Bandipora Road aimed at improving road safety and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.

The enforcement drive was focused on checking vehicle documentation, Driver Licensing, overloading and other traffic violations particularly by school buses and two wheelers. 

During the enforcement drive, a team from Motor Vehicle Department headed by ARTO Anees Ahmad checked various vehicles including School Buses to ensure adherence to legal and safety standards. 

During the drive, the ARTO retained 10 driving Licenses and 8 Registration Certificates besides realized fine of 

Rs 20000 from offenders and also issued notices to offenders. 

ARTO said today's enforcement drive was focused on school buses and two wheelers and urged all vehicle owners and drivers to adhere to transport regulations to avoid penalties and ensure overall safety and efficiency of transportation system.
