DC Bandipora reviews functioning of DIC, EDI & KVIB
Ensure effective implementation of schemes, reduce pendency : Shakeel ul Rehman
BANDIPORA, May 29: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Wednesday conducted a comprehensive review of several departments including industries, EDI, and KVIB in a meeting held here at Mini Secretariat Bandipora.
District Heads of concerned Departments apprised the Deputy Commissioner regarding various schemes and initiatives of their Departments implemented in the District.
Emphasizing proper implementation of various Government Schemes and programmes, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned to reduce the pendency of cases and organise more awareness camps for the larger benefit of the public.
Shakeel ul Rehman also emphasized the Swift dilevery of public services, maintaining quality of services, and working on reducing pendency of cases.
The Deputy Commisioner, on the occasion, urged the Nodal Officer, EDI to identify locations for establishment of Atal Tinkering Labs and directed the concerned to work in coordination with Education department for the realisation of these initiatives.
The DC also directed the concerned to extend hand holding to beneficiaries and increase sponsorship to promote economic growth.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC, Umar Shafi Pandit, CPO, Mohammad Maqbool, GM DIC, officials from DIC, EDI KVIB and other concerned.
