NCC’s Annual Training Camp Continues at Nagrota Training Academy

 Nagrota, Apr 23: The Annual Training Camp of National Cadet Corps continues at Nagrota Training Camp with range of activities taking place.

       An official spokesperson said second day of Annual Training Camp commenced with mindful meditation and yoga followed by Shramdaan in the campus by cadets to instill the spirit of selfless service and community engagement.

Precision, discipline and commitment to excellence were on full display on day-2 of the camp, where cadets were engaged in rigorous Drill Practice session with and without weapons to hone their skills, spokesperson informed.

He said the second day of camp gained momentum with lectures at squad posts wherein cadets were taught Map Reading, Weapon Training and basics of National Cadet Corps followed by a centralized lecture on Basic Life Skills by the team of seven doctors headed by Dr. Sunaina Gupta, Additional Professor and Officer in charge of Dept. of Anaesthesiology in collaboration with Dept. of Trauma Surgery AIIMS, Jammu.

Defence Spokesperson said the aim of this hands on training was to equip the cadets to respond effectively during medical emergencies in day to day life and to transform the cadets into trained and responsible citizens of future India.
