Jammu, Feb 26: Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) is going to hold Redressal Grievances Camp Nidhi Aapke Nikat at three locations simultaneously across Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh UTs on Tuesday.
An official spokesperson said PF Commissioner, Rizwan Uddin would personally hear grievances of workers, employers and issues being faced by them.
Spokesperson said the outreach programme Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, at Conference Hall, Bari Brahmana Industrial Association, SIDCO Complex Jammu; Yatri Niwas Sonamarg Development Authority, Sonamarg ,Kashmir, Srinagar and EPFO Office, LADAKH, Kargil, Leh on 27 February 2024, simultaneously.
HE said during the programme, Employers and employees of aforementioned areas would be sensitised about provisions of social security, besides covering themes of “Filing Grievance” – how to file grievance on EPFiGMS, other grievance filing provisions e.g. CPGRAMS, other portals; education on Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker etc.); awareness and fraud prevention; and rights of employees in respect of employers.
Spokesperson the aim of the program is to ensure broad based participation, awareness, grievance redressal and information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
On the occasion, the PF Commissioner urged subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees’ representatives, and industrial chambers to actively participate in Nidhi Aapke Nikat Program.
HE said the programme focuses on reaching out to the stakeholders and creating awareness about schemes of EPFO viz. PF, Pension and Insurance, addressing queries and grievances of stakeholders, taking feedback and suggestions from stakeholders, employees, employers, Industry Association, Contractors.
The PF Commissioner appealed to all industries to extend the Social Security benefits to all the eligible employees from the very first day of their joining in the establishment.
Hand Holding session will also be held to sensitise the employers about PF provisions and modalities. Important initiatives of EPFO such as e-Nomination, Online Claim Filing, Principal Employer Dashboard, Updation of KYC in UAN etc would be touched upon.
“Grievances related to the updation of member profile through Joint Declaration, Death Cases would be heard and registered during the program”.
