Bandipora, Dec 14: A Six-month cutting and Tailoring training Program concluded on Thursday Krishi Vigyan Kendra in north Kashmir's Bandipora district
The valedictory program, held at KVK Bandipora, celebrated the achievements and skills acquired by the participants during the intensive training.
This training, designed for tribal youth, aimed to empower rural youth with practical skills in cutting and tailoring, opening doors to careers in the thriving fashion and textile industry. Participants learned fundamental and advanced techniques, focusing on creating various garments.
Practical sessions allowed them to apply their knowledge under the guidance of experienced instructors.
At the valedictory program, participants received certificates recognizing their dedication and successful completion of the training.
Prof Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Director Extension, emphasised the importance of skills for employment, stating that continuous skill development enhances adaptability to changing job market demands
Dr. Tariq Sultan, Programme Coordinator at KVK Bandipora, highlighted the commitment to providing quality vocational training opportunities.
The event showcased garments created by participants, showcasing their creativity and mastery of cutting and tailoring techniques.
