Srinagar, Dec 14: To reach out and extend Indian Army's gratitude to the EX Servicemen (ESM), Veer Naris and Widows of Jammu and Samba districts, an Ex Servicemen Rally was organised at Ratnuchak under the aegis of Rising Star Corps on Thursday.
PRO Defence Jammu, Lt Col Suneel Bartwal said that the event aimed to provide support to veterans, offering a platform for ESMs to voice their suggestions and concerns.

"Commander of the local formation interacted with and felicitated the ESMs and Veer Naris who attended in significant numbers," he said.
He further said that the rally featured a grievance redressal cell and stalls by representatives from ECHS Centre, Zila Sainik Board, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Max Life Insurance, and HDFC Life Jammu.
"As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Max Life Insurance and HDFC Life presented assistive amenities, including wheelchairs and walking sticks for the elderly, and sewing machines for the ESMs," he said.
