Justice Sindhu Sharma visits Budgam Court, interacts with judicial officers, lawyers
Instructs Officers to list 10-year-old cases, under trials twice a month
Budgam, November 04: Justice Sindhu Sharma, Judge High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh instructed the judicial Officers to list the 10-year-old pending cases and under trial cases twice a month to ensure early disposal of these cases.
She said this during her visit to District Court complex Budgam to review the performance of the court and take stock of the infrastructural needs.
Justice Sindhu Sharma, who is the administrative Judge for District Budgam was accompanied by Registrar General Shahzad Azeem and was received by Principal District & Sessions Judge Budgam Khalil Ahmed Choudhary.
During the visit Justice Sindhu Sharma interacted with the judicial officers posted at District headquarter, Budgam and gave patient hearing to all Judicial officers viz-a-viz infrastructure and other issues faced by them in their respective courts.
She reviewed the performance of different courts and also interacted with the judicial officers with regard to the steps being taken to reduce the pendencies in courts and speedy disposal of cases.
Justice Sindhu also inspected various courts to assess the infrastructural needs and also listened to the grievances of the lawyers.
During her interaction with the judicial officers and lawyers, she assured that steps will be taken to redress all the grievances raised during her visit. She also assured that all the courts within District Budgam shall be at par with the best courts of the UT based on National Module.
