Bandipora, 08 April: A 38-year-old youth died of a massive cardiac arrest in Putushay village of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Saturday morning.
The sudden death of Mushtaq Ahmad Parrey, son of Assadullah Parrey has shocked his family, friends and the whole village. A pall of gloom descended on his native village as soon as the news of his death reached his village.
Locals and relatives said that Mushtaq was at his home at Sehri time when he suffered the attack after which he was shifted to District Hospital Bandipora in an "unconscious'' condition, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
An official said that the most likely cause of the young man's death was cardiac arrest saying his vitals were not functional when he was brought to the casuality, indicating he had already passed away.
Doctors said the youth's cardiac arrest could be due to some underlying condition.
The youth's sudden death has left his cricket friends and family in utter shock.
Hundreds of his friends and relatives turned up to have the last glimpse of famous Cricketer Mushtaq and participated in his funeral prayers.
The deceased was an ace cricketer and was playing with many local cricket clubs. The sportspersons condoled demise of deceased.
