Bandipora, Dec 09: The people of Tehsil Aloosa in northern Kashmir's Bandipora district are up in arms against the administration as the Tehsil office is without Tehsildar from past many months, resulting in a delay in getting their work done in a timely manner.

Since the transfer of Tehsildar months back an additional charge was handed over to Tehsildar Bandipora -Sheikh Tariq. Locals said owing to additional charge to the Tehsildar Bandipora, the Tehsildar spends just two days in Aloosa putting the locals to trouble.

The move has left the administrative section defunct as he has to handle the rush of two Tehsils. “We make frequent visits to the office of Tehsildar at Aloosa but the non-availability of the officer or rush of people, works get delayed causing a major inconvenience in getting our work done on time,” the local said.

Meanwhile locals appealed Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to kindly redress the issue at an earliest so that common masses will not suffer further hardships.
