Mental Health: The Chief pillar of life

Many of us have heard about Health fitness , in actual sense it is a physical state of well-being which allows us to perform day to day activities of our life . Alternatively Mental Health is our Social-cum-Emotional shape of well-being. It's main aim is to shape out ''Feel and Act''. In addition , it also directs 'How to handle Stress , Tension , Anxiety and how to build choices . Mental Health well keeps direct links with a number of factors like Relationships , Social Stigmas , Productivity, Community building etc. Thus plays an essential role in every person's life especially in gratification of a Bless full life , since from Childhood till death.

Prior to Mental Health , there are basically two main terms associated with it which influences the mood , behaviour and reasoning of any individual. And these are Positive Mental Health and Negative Mental Health .

By Positive Mental Health we simply mean a balanced psychological state which license us to control our feeling of life , including personal decisions. It helps us to cope a number of life challenges , problems and stresses. With Positive Mental Health we can easily function at our working hours and in other life events. It also drives our inner self towards good and charm full things and sets our hopes to tall in our life . In addition to it , we get the ability to acquire new skills , ideas as well as concepts . We tend to be more and more flexible and are able to get fix in any circumstances .

Some characteristics of Good Mental fitness includes :-

Feeling healthy all the time , either physical or mental , gaining a good amount of rest and sleep , feeling like you belong to your place either at Office, Home or Neighbourhood .

On other contrary unstable feelings, excessive fears , worries or emotions of guilt are the basic signs of poor or unbalanced mental health. It also concludes sudden mood changes ; from normal to violent or sometimes excessive violent behaviour . Unbalanced mental health affects our lives drastically , for instance it most times causes withdrawal of us from our Loved ones, Friends and even sometimes affects our relationship within family members. The person in the grip of it , usually complaints tiredness , loss of energy , unscheduled sleeping cycle and suicide thinking etc .With the inability to cope all there emotions , a person with poor mental health usually gets indulged in the use of Alcohol and other types of intoxicants .

Recently a study revealed that about 71% students across the world have indicated increase in stress and anxiety level for reason of the recent Global Pandemic Covid-19. This has resulted in fear , anxiety , loss of interest , withdrawal from closed ones . On other hand about 85% disrupt in sleep and social interaction was also recorded . WHO coverage for mental health 2001, highlights that every one in four person is affected by mental health by the reason of his/her own personal lives . Data collected samples illustrated more than 500 million people across the worldwide are suffering from ill mental health .

In current times the number of cases attributed to weak mental health are increasing day by day . For us it's quite easy to find any cases in our surrounding associated to it. Here for this , there are countless factors which are responsible for weakening our mental health. Such as : Harassment in educational institutes ; like Schools , Colleges and Universities , abuses which may be verbal or non-verbal , Unemployment , Trauma in family relations , dealing with racism , gender or from any religious discrimination . Unsafe living related to a particular Community and insufficient diet etc.

So, at present it is very important for all of us to work for the promotion of positive mental health for the benefit of two primary physical and mental well-being . For this concern , Firstly we must look and reach to those who are affected with it . Secondly we should listen their problems and should try to work for their best outcome. Good and balanced mental health can be achieved by ,building a secure environment for children , trying to get the affected ones back in their community , for this community and other social events can play a vital role. We can also achieve a proper mental health by programming events like Racing , Drawing , Reading , cropping fresh jobs and for this regard Respective Government and other reputed NGO's can work for human interest .
