Bandipora, Sep 17: To celebrate the birthday of Prime minister Narendra Modi, BJP Unit Bandipora in collaboration with district hospital Bandipora organized a one day blood donation camp in district hospital Bandipora.
The camp was chaired by Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, Medical Superintendent Bandipora and District President BJP unit Bandipora.
On this occasion, district president BJP Bandipora Naseer Ahmad highlighted the importance of blood donation as a noble cause. More than 60 points were donated by volunteers, Workers of the BJP as well as the civil society members of Bandipora .
The team of doctors assured the donors that their blood would be donated to save the lives of the poor and needy. Doctors and paramedical staff also expressed satisfaction with the response and interest in donating blood.
Naseer Ahmad said that he is happy to donate blood and expressed his desire to continue donating for life as it saves someone's life.
