Bandipora Sep 12: The Jammu and Kashmir Milk Producers Cooperative Limited Cheshmashahi on Monday organised a day long medical camp in Banyari village besides holding an awareness programme about Lumpy Skin Disease for the farmers of the village.
The experts of JKMPCL briefed the gathering about Lumpy Skin Disease, its signs, symptoms and methods of prevention & control. They urged the farmers to report about the symptoms to the concerned officers of the district authorities for isolation of the affected animals, treatment and vaccination. They urged the farmers not to panic as the disease is in control with very less number of affected Animals in the District.
They said the Cooperative Society is holding these camps across the district for informing the farmers about the precautionary measures to keep their domestic animals healthy.
On the occasion In-charge procurement Mohammad Akbar and District Supervisor Mudasir Nabi Lone also distributed medicines among 300 farmers. Locals thanked CEO JKMPCL Guruk Sharma and DIC Shabahat Kareem for organizing the event and hoped for regular interactions with the farmers in this regard.
