Cop injured in Rainawari grenade attack

Srinagar, Mar 23 : A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was on Wednesday evening injured after suspected militants lobbed a grenade towards a camp in Rainawari area of Srinagar.

Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that unidentified gunmen hurled a grenade towards CRPF’s 82 battalion bunker in Rainawari area this evening.

One cop identified as SGCT Mohammed Amin was injured in the incident, who has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers—(KNO)
