Bandipora Sqay athletes forms Association, holds elections
Saleem Jahangir elected as President of Association
Bandipora, October 28: The Sqay athletes of Bandipora Wednesday held elections to frame a new district Association under the name & banner "District Bandipora Sqay Association"
During the elections Saleem Jahangir was elected as President of the Association while Jamsheedah Yousuf as Secretary, Mohammad Mohsin Mir as Senior Vice President, Wasif Majeed Mir as Vice President and Nahida Zaib as Treasurer.
In a statement issued here, the association said that the election was held at Bandipora in which Nazir Ahmad Mir known as Grand Master presided the event as the cheif guest while Irfan Rangreez, who is Observer J&K Sqay Association and Saleem Pathan, currently holding Treasurer post of J&K Sqay Association were the guest of honour.
On the occasion the association members pledged to work for the fast growth, progress & betterment of Sqay game and to meet the genuine demands of sqay atheletes of district Bandipora.
