Srinagar, Sept 16 (KNO): Under Bharti Foundation’s Satya Bharti Quality Support Program, more than 2000 students from 26 partner Army Goodwill Schools in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were provided virtual career guidance to make them future ready.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), a spokesperson said that the 12-day long initiative started on September 07 and will continue till September 18.
Expert team of mentors with multiple years of experience including Ritu Bansal, Mudasir Shah and Sahil Bhat ensured that students get the best guidance. Each student received career guidance as per his/her interests and aptitude,” the statement reads.
It reads that on completion of these sessions, students will appear for online psychometric tests, which will also include report reading.
“Subsequently, a lecture series will be organized for students by internal and external resource persons.”
Talking about the initiative Brig. Brijesh Pandey, BGS, IW, Northern Command, said the students are the future of our county. “It is extremely important that they are given the right guidance and information. Initiatives like these help in building awareness, character, skills and attitude which will go a long way in helping students make the right career choices.”
As per the statement, CEO Bharti Foundation, Mamta Saikia said that they have been working to improve the accessibility and quality of education across India.
“Career guidance plays a pivotal role in helping students achieve their goals. It also gives children the ability to identify the career options that matches their caliber,” she said—(KNO)
