Indian Army organises Chinar Wushu Martial Arts Competition


Mansbal, September 14:  The 13th Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army on Tuesday kick-started two day Chinar Wushu Martial Arts Championship at Open Air Theatre, Manasbal Lake under the aegis of HQ 3 SECT RR

          In a statement issued today, officials said the event was an Open District Championship which was widely promoted through social media, sports academies, banners and posters. For the event collaboration   with Wushu Association J&K and Sports authority of India was done. He said 279 participants, 26 judges, 4 technical staff, 2 game observers and a medical team participated in the event.

          The Championship had four Categories with sub weight categories among  girls and boys with an aim to sharpen their skills and prepare for upcoming events.

The participants , their parents and local populace were very happy to see such a big level tournament in which boys and girls participated together to promote the spirit of sports.
