Bandipora, 12 June: Kendriya Vidyalaya Bandipora on Wednesday celebrated Annual Day with enthusiasm and Zeal.
The Official spokesperson said the entire school staff and students participated whole heartedly towards the great success of this grand event by the relentless efforts of Principal K.K Ghera.
B.B Sidhra DIG (SHQ BSF Bandipora) was the guest of honor for the event. In his speech he emphasized on moral education, responsibility of students towards their parents and also towards the nation.
The event started with lightning of the lamp that was lit by the Chief guest B.B Sidhra and school Principal K.K Ghera.
The theme for the annual day was journey of music and dance which was presented meticulously by the students of the Vidalya. The journey showcased music and types of dances-both Indian & Western. School’s Annual report was reported by the honorable principal K.K Ghera.
This includes achievements of school since its inception & also highlighted the milestones achieved during the first academic session.
An extract of parent children relation took the audience to moral based values of today’s world. A prize distribution was conducted to felicitate and recognize the talent of students in a various fields like academics, art, culture & sports etc.
The chief guest B.B Sidhar was visibly impressed by impeccable performance showcased by the students across different grades. In his speech to the audience , he appreciated the choice of the theme and its immense impact on minds of the youth. “He was astonished to observe the young children narrating the script with the perfect articulation. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by the PGT computer Science teacher of the school Arvind Gogna followed by national anthem”.
