Mysterious Car blast in Banihal: Police detain suspect for questioning

Banihal, Apr 1, CNS: Police Monday claimed that the owner of the Santro car damaged in a mysterious blast near Banihal a couple of days ago has been identified, detained and is being questioned.

   A police official told news agency CNS that the suspect is being questioned and it will be premature to say anything about the incident.

   Pertinently, a mysterious blast occurred near Banihal in a Sentro car when a CRPF convoy was passing through the road. The car was completely damaged in the blast while the driver of the vehicle escaped from the spot. An LPG cylinder was found near the blast site.

   The forensic experts and a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) visited Banihal and inspected the scene to help in the investigation
