Chadoora, March 24: Speaking to the party workers of the Chadoora constituency Former MLC, MLA of the Chadoora constituency Ali Mohammad Dar said that we need to be united and steadfast to save the special status of the state by casting vote to National Conference in the upcoming elections.
He also urged for steadfastness of workers to work tirelessly for keeping the ideologue of RSS backed BJP at bay. Who are hell bent to change the demography of the state.
He said this in a party workers convention of Chadoora constituency held here today.
“To keep the fascists and Right wing ideologies at bay we have to come out to cast our vote for National Conference in the upcoming elections. For that we have to start campaigning and harness grass root energy which will lead the National Conference to the victory for the betterment of the people of the State in general and Chadoora Constituency in particular,” Dar said.
“To boycott the elections is not the option left with us because it will directly benefit to those forces that are hell bent to scrap and trying to erode the special status of the state,” Dar added.
“By amending and extending laws which includes the GoI’s recent decision to extend two constitutional amendments to J&K is a blatant violation of Article 370 besides implementation of food safety and standards act and extension of GST was aimed to erode the special status of the state and it was done under well designed conspiracy by the PDP-BJP led government,” he stated.
He further said that presently whatsoever is happening in the valley is the gift of PDP which gave space to the BJP and state witnessed surge in centers interference in the state’s legislation.
While condemning government’s arrest spree in villages and towns, Dar said the government must stop pushing the youth to the wall as it grows further animosity among masses.
In the meeting, Dar said that past is witness what happened to the Chadoora constituency during last 16 years with regard to development and other civic issues of the people and said that time has come when must come forward and to work tirelessly for the upcoming Parliamentary and Assembly elections to mark our victory.
Dar castigated and lambasted the previous incumbent and former legislator who represented the constituency since 2002 for its callous approach towards the development and upliftment of the Chadoora Constituency.
“It is quite obvious that the whole constituency is facing shortage of basic amenities and people are facing a lot of hardships,” Dar stated.
He further maintained that despite third term of the former legislator of the constituency people of the constituency resent lack of amenities and non implementation of vital developmental projects and people were left in lurch.
He also maintained that casting your precious vote is the only option to thwart ill designs of these forces in the state.
The meeting was attended by District President, Abdul Ahad Dar, Block Presidents of Chadoora/BK pora among others also shared the podium and gave their valuable suggestions for strengthening the party.
