DEO Bandipora holds meeting with Nodal Officers

BANDIPORA, MARCH 13: District Election Officer(DEO), Bandipora Shahbaaz Ahmad Mirza  convened a meeting of all Nodal officers for various activities regarding General Election 2019 in the district here in his office chamber.

Additional District Development Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Mir and senior officers of the district besides other Nodal officers were present in the meeting.

Threadbare discussions were held on various issues   like establishment of Media Cell, MCMC, Manpower, Randomization, Training of polling staff, SVEEP, Communication Plan, Transport Plan, Material arrangement, Expenditure monitoring, EVM management, postal ballot management, establishment of helpline and complaint redressal, besides law and order issues.

DEO directed the Nodal officers   to remain vigilant and acquaint themselves with the knowledge, rules and regulations of election commission of India. He directed them to work as a team for bridging the communication gap and to yield better results.

He further stressed on adhering to the model code of conduct during election and also directed the Nodal Officers to gear up their men and machinery for the smooth conduct of general election in the district.
