Bandipora, 03 Nov: All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association District Bandipora held its district-level Elections at Tehsil Office Bandipora on Saturday.
All the members assembled at Townhall Bandipora to participate in elections for all Tehsils wherein Aadil Murtaza was elected as District president Bandipora with Nazir Ahmad Vice president, Manzoor Ahmad Awan General Secretary, Tufail Ahmad Publicity Secretary, Firdous Ahmad accountant, Arif Ahmad as Cashier.
The spokesperson said the elections were held in a free and fair manner and all the basic members hailed the decision of State body to elect the respective office bearers as Association is presently pleading with the government for many of its demands and has in recent last sat on 40 days long strike.
President Aadil Murtaza thanked all and promised that he will work for the welfare of the Patwaris. He expresses sincere gratitude to all those who showed trust on him by casting their precious votes in his favour. He assured the Association that he will remain at the forefront while leading the issues pertaining to the welfare of the Patwaris not only in Bandipora District but at the state level as whole.
