Bandipora, Nov 02 : Forces on Friday afternoon launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in North Kashmir’s Bandipora village.
Reports said a joint team of forces including Army’s 27 RR, Special Operation Group of Police (SOG) and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation at Pathan Mohallah Kaloosa in Bandipora district. Forces have sealed all the entry and exit points of the village and have launched door to door search operation.
Officials while confirming said that CASO was launched on inputs about the presence of militants in the area. However, no contact was established. till last reports came in. (Picture used in the news story is representational)
