Bandipora Nov 02: Senior PDP leader Nizamuddin Bhat has castigated administration for its failure to address issues of public Importance as people are facing serious difficulties because of an erratic power supply, lack of drinking water in most of the rural belts and poor medical facilities at health centres in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Bhat in a statement said Bandipora is hit hard for poor power supply despite the fact that this area generates about three KWs at Athwatoo. “It is an irony that Grid station Patushai is not getting commissioned even after expiry of several deadlines. Similarly, the whole health sector is in shambles, ” he said.
Bhat said people of the district are losing patience because of perpetual suffering and are outraged. He said the administration should be geared up for redressal without delay and power supply should be made available to consumers without any fail, to prevent a simmering agitation.
