Handwara,Mar 26,CNS : Two notorious drug pedlers who were evading their arrest and were absconding were apprehended by Handwara Police.
A police official said that two brothers Parvaiz Ahmad Malik and Irshad Ahmad Malik sons of Abdul Jabbar Malik of Daril Payeen vilgam in Handwara were involved in a drug peddling case.
He said that an FIR was standing registered against the sibling, however they were evading arrest.
Police had recovered huge consignment of Chars from their house few days back.
After a tip off of their presence at a specific place Handwara Police arrested both of them from Dolipora in a swift action.
With the progress the case will be challaned in the court of law after completing legal formalities.
Pertinently, Handwara Police have booked many Drug Peddlers under Public Safety Act in 2017.(CNS)
