Hajin (Bandipora), March 01: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir Thursday organised a zonal level Science model exhibition at government Middle school Khos-Mohalla Hajin in which all the winter camps of education zone Hajin participated enthusiastically.
An official said the models displayed in the exhibition were highly innovative, and were prepared in accordance with the academic requirements of students.
ZEO Hajin Mr Nisar Ahmad Lone, ZEPO Hajin Showkat Ahmad Din and other officials hailed the teachers for their sincere hard work and dedication.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Master Trainers Shahida and Muntazir Muneer and the Resource Persons (RPs) of the zone monitored these centers throughout the whole winter which developed a great sense of accountability and motivation in teachers.
He said the Master Trainers almost reached every center and delivered special lessons which proved beneficial for both students and teachers. “ZEO and ZEPO showed overwhelmed interest for the academic elevation of the students enrolled in these centres”.
Both the officers kept a close vigil on all the centres and paid surprise visits to these schools for the maintenance of good academic standards. “PRATHAM educational foundation was acclaimed for its collaborative role in the renovation of educational standards at elementary level”.
At last, subject specific jury elected top three position holders among the participating schools.
The participants in general and the position holders in particular were awarded with trophies, medallions and the certificates of appreciation.
ZEO and the ZEPO distributed awards, and urged students to work harder in order to achieve academic excellence.
The officers highlighted and believed that every child is having his /her unique capabilities, distinctive personality characteristics and the officers emphatically said that it is the formal job of a teacher to make relevant provisions so that every child gets an opportunity to blossom up to the maximum level.
The participating teachers wished that co-scholastic activities like creating models, participating in debates, discussions competition in painting etc need to be established in every school so that children will find themselves growing and developing.
