ADC Bandipora chairs price fixation meeting 

Discuses rates of essential commodities

Bandipora,November 22: In order to maintain the rates of essential commodities and also to provide better services to the consumers, a joint meeting of concerned officers and the representatives of various trade associations was held here today with Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad Sanai in chair.

     During the meeting,the rates of vegetables,chicken,mutton,cheese,milk besides other food item being served in hotels, were discussed threadbare. Stock and supply position of LPG in the district was also discussed in the meeting.

     The ADC on the occasion impressed upon the concerned departments to intensify market checking across the district so that the consumers are not deceived at any cost. He asked the traders to adhere strictly the rates already fixed by the government.
