Srinagar, Nov 07 Police on Monday arrested Assistant Commissioner Revenue Bandipora after the vehicle he was travelling in crushed a lady to death in Ahmad Nagar area of Srinagar city.
Police officials said on Monday evening an unregistered Bolerio vehicle crushed a lady Lal Jana of Ahmadnagar to death. Officials didn't disclosed whether the vehicle he was travelling in, was a government vehicle or a private vehicle.
Officials said the accused identified as Masarat Hashim Khan was immediately arrested and an FIR 99 of 2017 has been registered in the matter and inquiry has been launched in the matter. The accused is a KAS officer and is posted in Bandipora as ACR.
