Bandipora, October 21: Expressing resentment over the increasing incidents of braid chopping, Khalid Rafeeq Bhat District President Bandipora JKReTTF has demanded exemplary punishment to people involved in these cases.
In a statement issued today, Khalid Rafeeq said that these incidents are aimed to create chaos and disturb the social fabric of Kashmiri society.
The JKReTTF District President Bandipora appealed the masses to be vigilant but never take law in their hands so that no innocent is harmed on streets.
“This is a vicious game plan of mentally sick people who are hell bent to create more unrest in different parts of the valley. The braid chopping incidents are direct attack over the honour of our women folk which will never be tolerated,’’ Bhat added.
Bhat alleged that these unabated incidents have created fear psychosis among the populace and our school going girls fear to venture out of their houses. It is high time our law enforcement agencies foil the attempts and identify and book the elements involved in these heinous crimes.
