Baramulla 05 June 2017: In an attempt to establish a connect with the local population of Old Town Baramulla and to further the message of peace and prosperity , Army today distributed 60 lights along with the entire fitments to the Mohalla presidents of syeed Kareem,Jalal sahib and Ari baba mohallas of Old Town .
Army officials said for a long time the streets of old town have plunged into darkness during the night hours due to faulty electrification . The locals have been facing a lot of difficulties especially during their visit to mosque in early hours . He said as a goodwill gesture specially during holy month of Ramadaan this step of Army was appreciated by the masses .
