Bandipora, 2 March 2017:– MLA Bandipora, Usman Majid today said that he will put every possible effort to get Bandipora-Srinagar road repaired.
He said this while addressing party workers at Bandipora. He said he is well aware of the hardships faced by the people of Bandipora.
He said he protested in the assembly to get the project transferred to Beacon. “I had a hope that BRO will do it’s work honestly. But immediately after that PDP came into power and it never made the concerned department accountable,” he alleged.
Usman alleged that the present ruling party have kept the people of Bandipora in dark and have always made false promises which remain unfulfilled till date.
He further said that “the project will be transferred to R&B very soon as every effort is being done for its handover”. “We have asked government to fill the potholes so to make it motorable, till the time the project is transferred to R&B,” he added.
