They were absent from duties: DC Kupwara
Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNS): Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Gh Mohammad Dar has suspended Tehsildar and BDO Machil, for being absent during recent heavy snowfall there.
According to the KNS correspondent Fayaz Hamid, an order no-BCK/PS/01/5103-6, dated 28 Jan, states that Rayees Ahmad, Tehsildar and Block Development Officer Machil, Tahir Mohiuddin, vide order no BCK/PS/3/5098-5/02, dated 28 Jan are hence forth suspended of being absent from their duties.
While as Kupwara-Handwara 340 road coolies, in R&B division Kupwara and Handwara, BCK/PA/16/5098-97 and their salaries withhold for not performing duties. (KNS)
