Srinagar | Jan 26 (PTK): Students of the third year of Kashmir University whose examinations are underway have asked Kashmir University to reschedule the dates of their 2nd year backlog papers.
The students said that they have been asked by the university authorities to appear in the backlog papers of BG 2nd year and in the regular papers of 3rd year at different venues on the same date.
Students said it would not be possible for them to appear in both the papers simultaneously.
It is mentioned here that Kashmir University has recently issued the date sheets for BG 3rd year and backlog papers of the II year students, some of the papers have already been held and some got postponed due to bad weather since last couple of days.
Meanwhile PTK have received many complaints from the students of III year, terming date sheet ambiguous, students said that it is not possible for them to appear for both the papers simultaneously.
Taseer Bhat BCA student told PTK that on 1st February he has to appear in both papers in different centers via Nawakadal and Amar Singh College. Even a man with wings cannot make it possible how can I? He asked.
Another student Aasia Bashir B.A student from women’s college Baramulla also complained about the similar problem and termed it atrocity of varsity with its students. Students requested authorities to review the date sheet and prevent students from any loss.
When PTK contacted to PRO at Kashmir University, he said that they have rescheduled the timing of the examination. Rescheduling in dates is possible neither in the 3rd year papers nor in the backlog papers of 2nd year,” he said.
On other hand all j&k students union Spokesman told PTK that the date sheet should be reviewed without any further delay. (PTK)
