Jammu, Jan 19 (KNS): A resolution on return of Kashmiri migrants was passed in the State Assembly as leader of the main opposition and former chief minister Omar Abdullah sought a proposal for return of Kashmiri migrants which was endorsed by speaker assembly Kavinder Gupta.
According to KNS correspondent, as soon as the assembly proceedings started Omar Abdullah stood up and called upon the government to bring a resolution on the return of Kashmiri migrants in the assembly.
The speaker assembly Kavinder Gupta asked the government to consider the proposal of former chief minister following which parliamentary affairs Minister Abdul Rahman Veeri put the resolution on return of Kashmiri Migrants before the assembly and the resolution was unanimously passed.
Placing the resolution before the house parliamentary affairs minister Abdul Rahman Veeri said that Kashmiri migrant Pandits are inseparable of Kashmir society. (KNS)
