Hajin, January 19: An unidentified Militant has reportedly been killed in an ongoing encounter that broke out between militants and government forces at Par-Mohallah of Hajin town in Bandipora district on Thursday morning.
A Policemen has also been injured in the gunfight.
Earlier forces had cordoned the area and launched search operation.
Witnesses said the local youth also tried to disrupt the operation and pelted stones on the forces. The Clashes continue when this report was being filled.
The identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained. The encounter continues as their are reports of presence of more militants in the area.
