Srinagar, Nov 24 (KNS): Peoples Conference senior leader and constituency head of Kupwara Ghulam Rasool Lone (Lala) passed away on today morning.
Ghulam Rasool (80) passed in SKIMS Soura on today morning.
Ghulam Rasool Lone was a close associate of Late Shaheed-e-Hurriyat and chairman Peoples Conference Abdul Gani Lone.
The congregational Fateha Khawani will be held on Sunday, November 27 at their ancestral graveyard in the village.
Various political, social and religious leaders have expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at KNS office. The KNS management and staffers including editor in chief, Muhammad Aslam Bhat expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace to departed soul. (KNS)
