‘Reveal names of two ministers whose cash was confiscated’

Jammu | Nov 24(PTK): A meeting of the PCC executive members of Jammu Province was held here today at Congress HQ which was presided over by state chief G A Mir.

The meeting threadbare discussed the overall political scenario in the State especially in the wake of recent demonetization. The meeting also discussed the ongoing membership drive of the party besides 100th year of birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi being observed all over country throughout the year by the Congress party.

The meeting also discussed the nationwide protest of Chakka Jam by opposition parties on 28th November on the issue of demonetization.

Mir while speaking on the occasion said that the Congress party being the principal opposition party did not demand a role back of the demonetisation move but the manner and haste in which it was implemented has disturbed and severely jolted the lives of the common man.

The banking services in the rural sector have totally collapsed and people are not able to use their hard earned money. Several deaths have taken place all across India, out of which 11 are bank officials who died due to stress.

Sham Lal Sharma, senior Vice President while speaking on the occasion stressed upon all leaders and members of the Congress party to make the bandh of 28th November, a complete success and involve the common masses and expose the real face of BJP before the people of the State.

He also urged upon the Govt. to make public the names of two ministers whose cash has confiscated and later released by the police officials in a clandestine manner.

The meeting attended by leader CLP Nawang Rigzin Jora and all MLAs, MLCs, PCC Office Bearers, Executive Members, Heads of Frontal Organizations and District Presidents of Jammu Province. (PTK)
