Srinagar:-An associate professor of SKIMS Srinagar was found dead at his home in Sanatnagar today morning.
Sources said that Wilayat Nabi Bhat, Associate Professor, anesthesiology at SKIMS Srinagar left home from duty at around 9:30 PM yesterday.
He puts up at BSNL headquarters in Sanatnagar where his wife works as SDE.
Family sources said that Wilayat had kept his electric blanket on during the night and was electrocuted due to a short circuit in the blanket.
Police officials in police station Sadder confirmed that Wilayat died due to a short circuit in electric blanket.
