Woman injured in clashes at Bandipora.

Bandipora:- A woman was injured in watapora area of north kashmirs  Bandipora district on Tuesday when police fired dozens of tearsmoke shells to disperse the protests.
scores of people assembled at  watapora chowk to stage protest against the civilian killings however police lobbed tearsmoke shells and fired pellets shots to disperse the protesters resulting in injury to one woman.
The woman was identified as Haseena Begum resident of watapora area of district. Later she was reffered to sub District Hospital for treatment. Hospital sources told that the woman was hit by teargas shell in her abdomn,the woman also sustained minor injuries in her arm and are treated here.
Stone pelting incident also took place at malangam,when police tried to brought down Pakistani flags which was being hoisted by youths of the area.
Police fired tearsmoke shells to disperse them which resulted in pitched battles.
However no injury was reported from the area.
Reports of Clashes also came in from kaloosa, sheikh mohalla,quil,aloosa area of the district where angry youths clashed with police.Police used tearsmoke shells to disperse them.
Police also took away tents which where erected on roads by youths in main town Bandipora.
A protest rally was also carried out by women in Ajas area of Bandipora.
witnesses said that women while raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans marched from main chowk Ajas to Eidgah.The protest rally was peaceful.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Bandipora, Hajin and Sumbal areas of the district on 46th consecutive day.
