‘In power have you forgotten everything?’
Srinagar | May 29 (PTK): AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er Rasheed today said reminded Mehbooba Mufti that why she was crying about Aasiya, Neelofar and 120 killings everyday and now when she is in power, why she has forgotten everything and so stands badly exposed before the people of state.
He said that Mehbooba’s stand on sainik colonies, composite townships and other vital issues got badly exposed. While confronting Mehbooba that sainik colonies are meant for locals, Er Rasheed said that why do local sainiks need separate colonies after retirement, if they have their own good houses?
He ridiculed Mehbooba’s explanation that Muslims and Sikhs will also be settled in transit colonies for Kashmiri Pandits and said that what prevents Kashmiri Pandits from settling in their own places, if non-migratory Pandits are already living in communal harmony with their Muslim brothers.
“When Mehbooba tried to justify her anti-Kashmiri policies and said that Palestinian’s are getting best education despite conflict, Er Rasheed quickly confronted her and argued that because Palestinian enemy Israel is still for more civilised than India.
Er Rasheed reiterated that Governor has no moral or constitutional right to address the state Assembly as his position is violation of conditional instrument of Accession,” he said. (PTK)
