ISM Bandipora holds Mega Medical Camp

Conducts check up, distributes free medicines

BANDIPORA, May 28: A daylong AYUSH Mega Health Camp was organized by Indian System of Medicines, Bandipora at village Rampora Rajpora in the out skirts of Village Kehnoosa in Bandipora district.

The camp was inaugurated by District Nodal Officer Bandipora, Dr Iftihkaar Hussain whileas senior doctor Majid Khan,elderly citizens and other people were present on the occasion.

During the camp, free health check up of ailing persons with various diseases was done by AYUSH Specialists besides free medicines were distributed among the patients.

Nearly 312 patients were examined for various ailments,particularly water borne diseases ,also general awareness regarding Oral Hygenie and Handwashing were given to the students of High School Rampora by District Coordinator in presence of Headmaster and senior citizens.

The camp was held under the directions and patronage of Director General ISM, under the overall supervision of Nodal Officer Dr Iftikhar Hussain.

Prominent among others who visited the camp were Teachers of few primary schools, students also Sarpanchs and panchs.

Nodal Officer ISM Bandipora, Dr. Iftikhar on the occasion said that a special drive with regard to healthcare has been started in the district under which awareness camps and medical camps are being conducted, Our motive is to provide ISM facilities in such areas were no facility is available.
