Trio including a Bihari ran away from Juvenile Jail

Srinagar, May 3, CNS: A manhunt has been launched to trace and nab the three juveniles including a Bihari charged with murder who fled from Juvenile jail located in Harwan, in the outskirts of Srinagar city.

    A top police official told CNS that a special police team has been constituted to track down the fugitives who according to him took advantage of darkness and run away from the Juvenile Jail in the dead of the night.

    “Two youth from South Kashmir’s Tral town Adil Bashir Dar and Mudasir Mohiuddin Dar had been arrested in connection with a militancy case were in Juvenile Jail from past 4 months while a youth from Bihar Shamsher Sheikh was in lock up on charges of murder from past two years,” the police official said adding that a formal case vide FIR number 23/2016 under section 224 of RPC have been registered in Police Station Harwan and efforts are on to nab them.
