Bandipora, April 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar e Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) district Bandipora has expressed dismay over the dilly delaying tactics of state government in respect of releasing the pending salary of SSA teachers.
As per a statement released to media on Saturday, senior JKReTTF leader and District President Bandipora Khalid Rafeeq Bhat lashed out at the authorities for failing to release the salaries of thousands of Rehbar e Taleem teachers under SSA.
Khalid Rafeeq said that SSA teachers and their families are passing through traumatic conditions due to financial constraints. He said on one hand government want improved work culture and better academic results while on other hand thousands of teachers are left to suffer and their families are on the verge of starvation.
He urged upon the JKReTTF Chairman Farooq Tantray to devise a state level protest programme to press for the release of SSA salary.
Hailing the recent regularization order of KU, JU distance mode degree holders Khalid Rafeeq Bhat urged upon the authorities to order the confirmation of distance mode degree holders from other recognized universities. He also demanded transfer of regularized ReTs and early confirmation of KGBV teachers.
Later addressing the district body meeting Bhat stressed upon the teaching community to work with full dedication and commitment for better work culture and educational uplift.
