Srinagar |Apr 22 : Terming continuous detention of Geelani sahib despite his ailing health is a height of barbarism, Hurriyat conference(G) strongly condemned what it called the inhuman act perpetrated and executed by police and Mehbooba led administration to pacify their masters.
Hurriyat conference (G) in a statement, said after returning from Delhi Geelani was unable to perform his any religious or political obligations and even barred from offering Friday prayers which is a gross human rights violations.
The Hurriyat said such continuous house detention which seems to have no end not only suffocated him but taking heavy toll on his health.
Moreover, Hurriyat conference (G) also denounced the continuous house detention of several Hurriyat leaders including Mohd Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Ahmed Shah, Mohd Ashraf Laya, Mohd Yousuf Falahi.
