Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNS): The administration in Kupwara has decided to continue curfew in pensive district but will be relaxed in the morning for four hours.
The administration has also decided to close down all the schools and colleges in the district.
“Curfew will continue in the district but it will be relaxed in the morning between 8 and 11,” Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Kumar Rajiv Ranjan told KNS.
Internet will also remain suspended in the region Monday, he said.
The region has been on boil till Saturday over the killings of five civilians after allegations of molestation by an army man last week. Curfew was in place in the district, but there were no reports of clashes or protests, a police official said. (KNS)
