Srinagar, April 02: A teacher from Bandipora has been declared as ‘Teacher of the Fortnight’ by Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) for using innovative techniques during learning process.
Mushtaq Ahmad Malik from Boys Middle School Sheikhpal, Bandipora, was honoured by the Innovation cell of DSEK with an aim to acknowledge and encourage the teachers of the department.
Malik has used innovative pedagogies while teaching students and improved learning levels of students many times. “Being a resource person he has made extra ordinary efforts to train as many teachers as possible,” the Innovate cell posted on its Facebook Page. “Not only this, he involves community and leads in every initiative taken in School Education,” the post reads.
Vaibhav Jindal, the Prime Ministers’ Rural Development Fellow (PMRDF) posted in Innovation cell of DSEK stated that the directorate will name “Teacher of the Fortnight” on 1st and 16th of every month to highlight efforts and motivation of some of the best teachers in the department. He said the aim is to recognise the contribution of teachers in the field of teaching.
