Srinagar | Mar 30 (PTK): The students of Govt High school Hayan in Kangan Wednesday blocked the Srinagar-Sonamarg road and protested against the non availability of the required teaching staff in their school.
The students along with their parents staged protest demonstration on the Srinagar-Sonamarg road due to which hundreds of vehicles including those carrying tourists to Sonamarg stranded.
A police official from police station Kangan said that they are on the spot but the protesters are demanding the intervention and assurance of Chief education Officer.
The sit in was going on when the reports last came in.
Pertinently, the students of high school Surfraw had also staged a same kind protest. (PTK)
