Srinagar | Mar 18 : BJP’s Ram Madhav has reportedly said that the talks with PDP over government formation in Jammu and Kashmir have failed, as the ‘new demands’ put forth by the PDP are unacceptable.
However, sources in PDP said that they have not set any new conditions.
After this development, it seems the hectic parleys to form government between Peoples Democratic Party and Bhartiya Janta Party have not ripened.
Political observers say that following these developments, PDP seems to have slowly lost strong turf and has totally gone on weak turf. “BJP has shown rigidity and now looks that PDP has to compromise on everything,” they said.
Amid all this suspense, it will be interesting to see how Mehbooba Mufti handles the whole situation and where she takes the state that has given her party a fractured mandate.
